…the Lyrics (Dawn Austin Someday)…
Spinning Like A Wheel (Susan Ashton and Wayne Kirkpatrick): Susan Ashton and Wayne Kirkpatrick wrote an amazing song that’s truly about how wonderful and fun love is.
Hold On (Dawn Austin): I believe one should never give up on their dreams, and whatever passion(s) they have in their heart, that is their calling in life. Even if the calling, is just for a moment, “don’t give up…you’re almost there, I see you there.”
The Wind of Change (Dawn Austin): Written at a time when I came close to ‘throwing in the towel’ on a matter due to the unfairness of the situation. Halfway through the song, I thought I should take a turn, and turned the song into more of a love song, but in the end, it all boiled down to one word…forgiveness.
Someday…This Day (Dawn Austin): This song came to mind and heart when someone that I had met briefly, shared their dreams, but struggled with addictions that would keep the individual from soaring unless they embraced a new and permanent change. So when I see a homeless person on the street walking by, or from my car…or someone that has traveled an extremely tough road in life, this song will play over and over in my mind. In the lyrics, the person that is struggling, finally wakes up to see/realize the hope that others see in him, and makes the change. From the beginning of this project, I knew that it wasn’t about me, it was for a purpose, and that purpose was, and is, to make a difference in a struggling world.
I Know You By Heart (Diane Scanlon and Eve Nelson): Diane and Eve have written such a beautiful song that speaks for itself and reflects the heartfelt compassion toward a loved one.
As Our Lives Move Along (Dawn Austin): When we lose someone special to us in life that we love, it’s impossible to put the impact of their golden heart and life into words. This is about the bond of a loving memory that is always alive in a person’s heart when they experience a loss, and also serves as a reminder to carry a deep appreciation daily for those that we love while they are a part of our lives.
